I think the main reason why they're still in the game right now is because you can trade in Legendary Maple Leaves to Cassandra 2: Leaves, that's a leaves to one coin. Trade them in to Cassandra, choose the option "talk to Cassandra. Maybe they had a Jaira and it's attributes carried over? I have no clue, but these are just two guesses at what it could be.

Anything with a 5k range can kill it there's no time limit and also, watch out for ksers, those miniature pianus are worth a bit.
