What is marathon feature on dbz

Have any of the original voice actors died? User Info: super hotshot bowser. I still watch it though. Kitanai Ningen - Zamasu "To be honest, Ginyu himself doesn't have very many moves. User Info: vashkey. I've got seasons It's alright, but the remastering is far from perfect. Regardless, the box sets are so cheap theres really not much reason to complain.

Crop 20 percent of the original Image and supposedly add five percent to the sides which is what funimation is saying they did. In some ways it's worse than the Funimation remaster since Kai is edited. A lot less blood. The only advantages Kai has over the Funi remaster is that it lacks filler and it's in true HD.

I wouldnt really say it makes much sense to compare Kai to the Funi remaster. The Funi remaster is just cropped filitered DBZ. Kai is it's own entity almost. It's heavily modified and edited DBZ with revoiced dailouge. Probably an effort to make a new generation of Dragon Ball fans. Build 2 Answers Is there any way to get goku's ss2 ability?? Ask A Question. It's a better experience, as it lets everything flow when you're trying to well, marathon the show.

Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words? Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up! Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes! Cold World Fanfic "It ain't never too late to stop bein' a bitch. Post by dbboxkaifan » Thu Sep 05, pm It's just a gimmick feature from other FUNimation sets which never had a place on the Dragon Boxes Z because it was meant to be a replica not anything else.

Some people prefer not to have to do that.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out a flaw with the orange bricks, and if you want to play the victim over that, I'm happy to show you the door. Post by Fennekin » Thu Sep 05, pm I would find that annoying. Like collab writing and enjoy the universe of Dragonball? Marathon Mode is an option FUNimation added to its Dragonball box sets to which a single OP and ED are played around a continuing line of episdes without breaks aside from the eye-catches.

I had forgotten about this feature on these sets, and started thinking how awesome it would be on other series. Question now is: would you want to see more of the option? Now's your chance to voice your opinion. Joined: 19 Jan Posts: Oh man, i just watched Macross II which said "the movie" on it despite being a 6 ep OVA and it basically made itself a movie by doing a marathon mode.

And it reminded me how much I loved the marathon mode from the DBZ series. I think it's one of the most useful special features and when you put 7 eps on a disc, it's really handy, especially since most DVD players can resume play if you just turn it off. It just makes a lot of sense as it lets me enjoy the show more without having to keep in mind where the DVD remote is after I hit "play". Sounds like a cool feature. Never seen it on any UK releases.

Joined: 11 Mar Posts: OldCharlieStoletheHandle wrote I haven't watched anything that uses marathon mode, but I think that it's a good idea. In most cases I only watch the opening and ending sequences for a series once, then skip them otherwise, so it would be convenient to have this done automatically.

The only problem that I can foresee is the rare case of special openings or endings that have content unique to a particular episode. I could imagine complaints about people watching a given series on 'marathon mode' only to later find out that they missed the song that was used only for the opening of episode 3 or extended dialogue that played through the credits of episode 8.

Those are rare things, but I could see a real, if rather small problem in dealing with them in marathon mode. Joined: 23 Jul Posts: Location: Philly.

For longer series when I only kind of like the songs, it'd certainly be a nice convenience. Imagine how much time you'd save on those huge SJ series if it'd cut out the recaps that open the episode, too. Joined: 21 Apr Posts: Joined: 18 Jun Posts: Location: The deep south. Unfortunately, this was the only way to watch the episodes; there was no way to view the openings and closings in their proper spots without manually skipping to them.

Of all the DVD's in my collection, these seem to be the only ones set up in this way. Anyone know if there were other Pioneer titles of similar vintage like this?
